PARAÑAQUE 20 August 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that consular operations in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) nationwide are suspended on Friday, 23 August 2024, pursuant to Proclamation No. 665 issued by the Office of the President, dated 15 August 2024, moving the commemoration of the Ninoy Aquino Day from Wednesday, 21 August 2024 to Friday, 23 August 2024.
Furthermore, please be advised that consular operations in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) throughout the country are also suspended on Monday, 26 August 2024, in observance of the National Heroes’ Day, and will resume its services on Tuesday, 27 August 2024.
Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointment on 23 August 2024, in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) will be rescheduled as follows:
FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS:
1. Reschedule of Passport Application Appointment
Affected passport applicants will be accommodated on Wednesday, 21 August 2024, at their respective original appointment site. For those applicants who are unavailable on the given date, they will be accommodated from Tuesday, 27 August 2024 to Friday, 20 September 2024.
2. Passport Release
Passport Releasing Service Center at Double Dragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Friday, 23 August 2024, and will resume operations on Tuesday, 27 August 2024. Any passport releases scheduled on the said date will be rescheduled on the next working day.
