The Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office in Cebu (DFA CO Cebu) informs the public of the temporary suspension of its operations from 29 July to 02 August 2024 to facilitate its relocation from Pacific Mall in Mandaue City to Robinsons Galleria Cebu in Cebu City.
Effective Monday, 05 August 2024, DFA CO Cebu will resume operations in its new location as with the follows;

Applicants affected by the temporary suspension of operations are hereby further advised of the following:
- Applicants with pending applications may proceed to DFA CO Cebu’s new location at Robinsons Galleria Cebu beginning Wednesday, 07 August 2024;
- Applicants whose passports are scheduled to be tentatively released from 29 July to 02 August 2024 are advised to appear at DFA CO Cebu beginning 05 August 2024.
Passport applicants with extremely urgent need to travel may be accommodated for the release of their passport provided they present proof of urgency or emergency. Applicants must email DFA CO Cebu ([email protected]) at least three (3) days before the intended date of release and await confirmation email with instructions on how to proceed; and - Authentication applicants with extremely urgent need to claim their Apostille Certificates from 29 July to 02 August 2024 may be accommodated provide they present proof of urgency or emergency. Applicants must email DFA C Cebu ([email protected]) at least three (3) days before the requested date of release and await confirmation email with instructions on how to proceed.
The Temporary Offsite Passport Service (TOPS) at SM Seaside and the Passport Service Office (PSO) Cebu at SM City Consolacion will remain open for the duration of DFA CO Cebu’s suspension of operations. Online appointment slots may be secured through the official website at www.passport.gov.ph.
