MANILA 06 September 2024 – In celebration of the Civil Service Month in September 2024, Consular Offices will open its Courtesy Lane to all civil servants to avail of authentication and passport services on Saturday, 21 September 2024.

Below are the guidelines for the courtesy lane accommodation:

  1. All Civil Servants from all branches, subdivisions, instrumentalities, and agencies of the Government, including government-owned or controlled corporations with original charters, and of any age may be accommodated as walk-in applicants at the courtesy lane.
  2. To avail the courtesy lane, one must present a valid ID issued by their respective government employer.
  3. One civil servant applicant is allowed to bring plus one applicant provided that they are an immediate family member or a traveling companion.
  4. In case a civil servant applicant brings with her two or more minor (17 and below) children for passport application, all of her children will be accommodated. 
  5. Non-civil servant applicants are not entitled for accommodation unless they fall under the list of qualified applicants for the use of courtesy lane such as senior citizens, persons with disability (PWDs), minors, solo parents, and OFWs.
  6. Disapproved applicants with incomplete requirements are given until the end of October 2024 to comply and return to their original site of application during the normal operations of the site .
  7. Unless stated above, existing rules and guidelines for the use of courtesy lanes, authentication, and passport processing will be followed.
  8. Passport application Fees: Cash payment only
    1. Expedited Passport fee: Php 1200.00 
    2. Courier (optional): Php 150.00 
  9. Authentication application fees per document: Cash payment only
    1. Expedited Fee: Php 200.00
    2. Regular Fee: Php 100.00 

The Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) reminds all applicants that the courtesy lane privileges for civil servants does not constitute or guarantee approval of the authentication and passport application. All applicants will be processed in accordance with the existing laws, rules, and regulations of passport processing.
